Our goal is to unite the largest community of environmental managers in Ukraine and the world in order to scale everyone’s efforts for sustainable development and minimization of environmental risks, to restore the destroyed environment and to find new environmentally friendly solutions.
The Professional Association of Environmentalists of the World (PAEW) is a membership-based, innovative, independent, modern, non-profit organization of green economy professionals from the public and private sectors with common interests in adherence to the principles of sustainable development, green recovery and ecotransformation of all spheres and industries.
It is funded by membership fees.
The Professional Association of Environmentalists of the World (PAEW) is an association of professional environmental managers who address global and local environmental challenges: environmental engineers, environmental researchers, environmental lawyers, environmental inspectors, climate scientists, innovators, designers, sustainability and compliance managers who know from their own experience how the system works, what the problems are and understand how to overcome these obstacles.

PAEW is an international network that was established in Ukraine as the Association of Environmental Professionals. From the very beginning, we have grown into an influential professional organization that enhances professionalism, shares knowledge and provides constructive advice to market participants on all aspects of environmental and natural resource management practices.
Our leadership was recognized in 2022, when international experts began to join the union.
💚 From April 14, 2023 – we have transformed from PAEU to PAEW and now plan to launch our first competency framework for the profession, which should become a benchmark for standards of practice and membership progress.
Our associate members learn from each other, engage with the strongest partners and access a united platform of expertise to advance their path to sustainable and balanced development.
From now on, PAEW includes not only leading Ukrainian environmental specialists (environmental engineers, ecologists, compliance managers, lawyers, quality managers, environmental inspectors, sustainability specialists, innovators, designers), but also representatives of the environmental and climate communities of the United States, Canada, Ireland, Norway, and Luxembourg.
A specialist or company are welcome to join our Association if they are determined about improving sustainability in their practice and will promote cooperation in eco-transformation between sectors and countries around the world.

PAEW – це міжнародна мережа, яка була створена в Україні як Асоціація фахівців довкілля. З самого початку ми перетворилися на впливову професійну організацію, яка підвищує фаховість, ділиться знаннями та надає конструктивні поради учасникам ринку щодо всіх аспектів екологічної та природної практики управління навколишнім середовищем.
Наше лідерство було визнано в 2022 році, коли до учасників спілки стали долучатись міжнародні фахівці.
💚 З 14 квітня 2023 року – ми трансформувались із ПАЕУ в PAEW і тепер плануємо запустити нашу першу структуру компетенцій для цієї професії, яка має стати еталоном стандартів практики та прогресу членства.
Наші асоційовані члени навчаються один в одного, взаємодіють з найсильнішими партнерами та отримують доступ до єдиної платформи досвіду, щоб просувати свій шлях до сталого і збалансованого розвитку.
Відтепер до PAEW входять не лише провідні українські фахівці довкілля (інженери з ОНС, екологи, менеджери з комплайєнсу, юристи, менеджери з якості, екологічні інспектори, фахівці зі стійкого розвитку, інноватори, проектанти), а й представники довкіллєвих і кліматичних спільнот США, Канади, Ірландії, Норвегії, Люксембургу.
Якщо фахівець чи компанія серйозно налаштовані на покращення сталого розвитку у своїй практиці та буде сприяти співпраці в екотрансформації між секторами та країнами по всьому світу, тоді вона є бажаним членом нашої Асоціації.

Tasks of the Professional Association of Environmentalists of the World (PAEW)
- Ensuring international cooperation for the restoration of the destroyed environment
- Promotion of the regular professional development of the Association’s members, increasing their professionalism and competencies
- Monitoring, auditing and assistance in the environmentalization of enterprises of various industries in Ukraine
- Representation and protection of legitimate professional and other common interests of the Association members in central and local authorities, other state and non-governmental institutions and organizations
- Development of laws and other regulations that will eliminate gaps in environmental legislation
- Organization and conduct of public reviews of draft laws, programs, decisions, and other documents and regulations
- Promoting the best available technologies for sustainable development
- Promoting the organization and implementation of measures to improve environmental education and the development of the environmental profession
- Organization and conduct of lectures, seminars, training, conferences, meetings and other information and educational events
- Interaction with national and foreign public organizations and international non-governmental organizations for the exchange of experience
- Providing methodological and informational assistance to the members of the Association
- Promotion of the environmental knowledge among the society
- Help with the employment of environmental specialists

You do not have any blemishes on your business reputation
- You are not a citizen of russia or belarus and do not support aggression against Ukraine
